Planning and attendances before adopting a pet
Animal Care December 20th, 2010The basic notions for having a pet are very important: responsibility, free time and maintenance. You should always remember that a pet is a living being and is not a toy. For that matter it will require of our responsible care.
Most of the time the imperative desire for having a pet makes people falls into serious mistakes. One of the most common mistakes is to take a dog home, away from his mother, before it gets to be two months old.
This will be very detrimental for the puppy, which needs the milk of its mother on the early stages of its life, so it can acquire the DEFENSE that its body needs.
Do not forget that animals receive in the meantime all the vaccines required, otherwise, apply them to your pet as soon as you get it to home.
Always keep in mind the race. While not mandatory that the dog is not of a mixed race, choose a particular breed, in a way that you can be sure that the pet will have certain features on its behavior, ones that fit your needs and your search.
Once your pet is at home, it is important to affirm the leadership role. Dog education at an early age, as we know, is truly fundamental. While they want all family members, identify the strongest of the herd. In this way we choose.
Once all these concepts have been assimilated and implemented, you are prepared to adopt or buy a pet. Do not forget to bring a pet home is not to buy a teddy bear!
We hope these tips have been useful for you.
